<http://sites.cdnis.edu.hk/school/us/programmes/middle-years-programme-myp/ myp-personal-project/>. In Criterion A, I will be researching and using different types of sources including books, textbooks, photographs, and websites as well as videos. In my process journal, basic background information will be presented before a beginner's journey of exploring deeper into the topic Chinese calligraphy is embarked. Chinese calligraphy has changed but has remained a unique visual art. Even without knowledge of Chinese characters, it can be appreciated. There are five styles: clerical script (lishu), regular script (kaishu), semi-cursive script (xingshu), cursive script (caoshu), and seal script (zhuanshu). These different styles will be further explored in the process journal of 'A. Investigate'. The image above shows several of the sources I will be using.
