Criterion D: Rubric Review
"MYP Personal Project." CDNIS Sites. Web. 21 Oct. 2014.
<http://sites.cdnis.edu.hk/school/us/programmes/middle-years-programme-myp/ myp-personal-project/>. In Criterion D, I will be evaluating my product. This will be one of the last stages of the project. I will reflect on my knowledge of this project but one thing for sure is that...I will most definitely be continuing to write and practice calligraphy after the project has terminated. For a final wave off, I just want to wish the tenth graders of next year to better plan their time because I was rather rushed at the end because I skipped times to work and zoom! It was already December 25th and Christmas time! Yay! |

In the personal project, students should: i. evaluate the quality of the product/outcome against their criteria ii. reflect on how completing the project has extended their knowledge and understanding of the topic and the global context iii. reflect on their development as IB learners through the project. For a level 7 to 8: The student should be able to: i. present an excellent evaluation of the quality of the product/outcome against his or her criteria ii. present excellent reflection on how completing the project has extended his or her knowledge and understanding of the topic and the global context iii. present excellent reflection on his or her development as an IB learner through the project. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
** I hope and sincerely hope that I can finish my product. It was not as easy as it looked at all! And it did not look easy. But now, I have a good sense as to how I will present my work. 1. Present my practice sheets in a booklet form. 2. Present my notebook of proverbs. 3. Invite guests to try writing Chinese calligraphy on other notebook. 5. Present my scroll. 6. Present my website with all my reflections. 7. Present my printed version of the report. Criterion D would be more or less the final thoughts. I am so excited to leave this behind me but to bring what I have learned into my future. |
