After four weeks in France and two weeks spent in Vichy, I discussed some ideas with the other camp members. One said that her brother created a tennis training program and taught people at their local tennis club. She talked about the importance of creating and exploring something close and effective in a close related region.
I figured that writing Chinese letters might be a potential project because living in Hong Kong, I see Chinese characters everywhere. On banners. Literally everywhere. And sometimes I wonder how someone came up with the fonts. And how did the fonts develop. I thought that calligraphy might be the start of standardised writing. Boy, was I right! So I decided to create awareness in an international community (not that I am an expert but just to share what little bit I know).
Another idea I had was to explore street art in Hong Kong. I saw this a lot in France on the walls of buildings. Apparently most of the street arts are illegal. So exploring it in Hong Kong was crossed off my list. I need to start something and am only returned in the beginning of August. Before school started, I sent an e-mail to my PP supervisor notifying her of my change of idea. It was late but better now and never. I will start working real soon.
