Today I started really creating my product and that was at 10 at night until 1 in the morning. I had this idea to just let my ideas flow but what I really did was fill in some cracks where I was missing information. I practiced writing my words at home, one of the few times I actually write outside of class, and my work was definitely not as good as it was in class. I think the atmosphere is different. But nonetheless, I finished some parts of my project like the booklet. The video can be seen in the Creation Process page itself as a youtube link.
I noticed in class that to write idioms and for them to be aesthetically pleasing, I needed to look at something for reference. This is normal, but I think that my words would be better had I had more practice at home and done the homework assigned. But sometimes, I just do not do it because I procrastinate. This will affect my final product. Today is the last class of 2014 because break starts next week. Today, I also went out to buy some of my materials. I could find them in most stationary shops and pop-up stores because Chinese New Year is approaching (how much longer to wait I am not sure, but I am sure that it will be near the time of the exhibition).
Today was another class. As can be assumed by now, my classes are on Wednesdays. Today was interesting because the teacher provided us with red paper telling us (by the way, the "us" is people in class with me) that we would definitely impress people with our writing. And so we practiced. But the one thing I found interesting about today's class was that everyone was as cautious as ever because the red paper seemed so distant from the original rough practice paper. But we gave it a go. I can see that I am improving. But I am worried as to how to demonstrate my knowledge now. Everything is getting chaotic again because school break is almost starting. Good thing calligraphy calms my brain.
