Today is not my first but second class. My first was just a lecture for an hour and then writing. But today's atmosphere in the class room was rather different. We were all quiet and only concentrated on writing. I am so happy to have found this class so close to my building and late at night, so I could get all what I want done during the day and do my Personal Project at night as a means of mandatory work. But according to the policy, we should only be spending some limited number of hours. I think that the number is ridiculous. If I want to pass, then fine. But a good grade? At that rate seems barely possible. I procrastinate. What normally takes 1 hour would be 2. And so do many others. Personally, I would exaggerate that number to get students to do what they could do in less time. But class was fun. I wrote simple idioms and learned ways to hold the brush first-hand. Calligraphy is definitely an experience.
